Our hearts are both sorrowful and joyful in remembering the life and legacy of George. Husband, Father, Brother, Friend. The most important however, is a follower of The Most High God, a man after God's own heart. His untimely death was devastating, but is just a small part in the working of God's perfect plan. Just in the last year he was rebaptized with his two sons, and his now son-in-law Justin for his first time. He witnessed his middle son, Manny, marry Cherlanda, the love of his life in the presence of their son Camden, and was overjoyed with gaining such an amazing daughter. His watched oldest son, Cody and daughter-in-law Gabby give birth to their third child, his third grandson Zechariah, baby brother to Eliana and Malachi, George's treasures. He got to walk his baby girl, Emma, down the aisle to the man of her dreams, and experienced his 31st wedding anniversary with his beautiful wife, Rae, the absolute love of his life. The day he passed he learned that Manny and Cherlanda are having their second son, to be named George.

We are grieved at his passing, but our hearts leap with joy at the thought of the man we love, standing in heaven with hands in the air worshiping The Lord with a choir of triumphant angels. God's plan is perfect and His timing is precise. Though we don't always understand why, we know that God provides a peace that surpasses all understanding in times of sorrow and worry, and that is what we lean on. God's promises are true, and His love overflows on his children. We rejoice in the day we will see George again, but until then, he is where The Lord intends for him to be, in the arms of His Father. Through his loss of life, the ones he loves understand the importance of our Lord Jesus and what He did for us, and for people to know that God's love is real. His death will not be seen as a tragedy. We will rejoice in George's return home to the Lord.

In Lieu of flowers, the family prefers a donation to Camden McElroy, that the Lord may fulfill His promises over his life. Wells Fargo acct #6540445282
